ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICINES
(a) Parents who wish their child /ren to take any form of medication in school or during school related activities must inform the school in writing stating what the child is to take, what is the correct dosage and giving permission for the child to take the medication in school or during school related activities (only one day’s dosage should be sent in on any one day). A form is available from the office for parents to fill in should your child have any medication/inhalers etc. in their possession during school hours.
(b) Staff will not take responsibility for administering medication
(c) Children must not share medicines.
(d) Inhalers etc. should have child’s name clearly written on them and they need to be checked regularly to make sure they are not out of date.
