Our Mission Statement
We at Scoil Naomh Eoin endeavour to provide a child-centred Catholic education, where respect for and an appreciation of the worth and giftedness of every individual are central values.
Our school Vision
We, in Scoil Naomh Eoin, strive to provide a caring school environment that is inclusive, fun, creative and safe. We believe every child should feel welcomed, respected, cherished and be facilitated in reaching their potential whatever their background, nationality or faith. The ultimate aspiration of the school is to prepare our pupils to live content and happy lives.
We endeavour to provide a high quality education, which develops the full potential of each child, with due regard to individual difference and is reflective of the 21st century Ireland to which our pupils belong. Pupils are encouraged, affirmed, given responsibility and provided with opportunities to experience success. We are committed to catering for differing needs to the best of our ability.
Pupils in Scoil Naomh Eoin are encouraged to explore and appreciate their local natural and human environments. We seek to empower each child to contribute their talents and skills to their local community and to society in general. We recognise the importance of the development of the senses to appreciate the beauty inherent in art, music and the world around us. We aspire for our pupils to become well- functioning members of society. We encourage them to become increasingly self-motivated, self-disciplined and resilient as they progress through the school.
The promotion of physical and mental health is fundamental to our vision. All students are encouraged to value their physical and mental health. We acknowledge the value of physical activity for the long term happiness and confidence of our pupils.
The school aims to work in partnership with parents to facilitate the moral and social development of their children. A sense of fairness, mutual respect and genuine effort characterises Scoil Naomh Eoin.
It is the responsibility of every member of the school community, whether pupil, parent or staff member, to ensure that this vision is realised every day in our school.
